I shouldn't be surprised in seeing this VW van prowling the streets of Vancouver since spotted a Chrysler minivan, not as cool as this, earlier in the year. Some people in the Wet Coast is trying to relive the Summer of Love, perhaps?

Hand designs

The barista at the local Starbucks is kind enough to let me take this photograph of the tattoo on her hand. Notice in addition to the unique design and placement the ink used is the more pleasant flesh tone not the standard dark blue.

Dead trees

During winter when all the trees had shed its leaves didn't realized these trees were dead. Once Spring arrives their bared trunks and branches stand out in stark contrast to the surrounding trees.
